Victoria Edeha-Anthony

Victoria Edeha-Anthony is the founder and CEO of D’Young Environmental Service Limited (D’Young Energy). She is a 2022 Africa Power & Energy Elites Leader, a passionate renewable energy advocate, climate change educator, and digital marketing strategist. Holding a Master’s degree in Environmental Toxicology and Pollution Management, Victoria combines technical expertise with strong community engagement to drive sustainable impact.

With over five years of experience in the renewable energy sector, she holds certifications in Mini-Grid Design and Energy Audits, and has successfully supervised solar projects across Lagos and the Niger Delta. Beyond her professional work, she has volunteered as Program Manager for the Climate Leadership Fellowship and AWEDI Network, and currently mentors women through the NESP Women Program.

Victoria is committed to advancing sustainable energy adoption and climate education, particularly in underserved communities, where her leadership continues to inspire positive change.

Sandra Opara

Sandra Opara is our Energy Access Contributor at D’Young Energy. She currently serves as the Technical & Operations Manager for Mini-Grids at ENGIE Energy Access Nigeria, where she leads solar hybrid projects that deliver reliable electricity to underserved communities.

With over six years of experience in renewable energy and an engineering background, Sandra has helped bring power to more than 30,000 rural households in Nigeria. She combines technical expertise with data-driven insights to ensure long-term system sustainability and lasting community impact.

Sandra is passionate about bridging the energy access gap in Africa and shares her knowledge on how clean, decentralized solutions can transform lives and empower communities.

Emmanuela Afi Mayowo Nunekpeku

Emmanuela Afi Mayowo Nunekpeku is our Climate Change Education Lead at D’Young Energy’s Learning Hub. With a background in Medical Laboratory Science, she is passionate about the intersection of public health and climate change.

Her experience spans clinical laboratory work, research internships, and climate advocacy programs. As an African Leaders Climate Fellow with Greenlead, Emmanuela has deepened her expertise in climate research and policy, strengthening her voice in the fight for a healthier and more sustainable Africa.

She is particularly committed to demonstrating the impact of climate change on human health, while advocating for solutions that protect both people and the planet.

Sonia Rahmani

My name is Sonia Rahmani. I am a Tunisian passionate Project Coordinator and youth empowerment leader with extensive experience in project management, digital literacy, peacebuilding, climate-smart agriculture, and the circular economy. As the founder of Cyber Civics Hub and Peace Makers Club, I have spearheaded initiatives advancing social inclusion, climate change awareness, and female-led tech innovation. An alumna of the African Leaders Climate Fellowship, a recipient of the Green Digital Certificate, and an alumna of the Professional Fellows Program (PFP), I drive impact at the intersection of economic development, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and digital innovation. I also mentor changemakers, supporting them in creating meaningful and lasting change.

Doreen Samuel

Doreen Samuel is a passionate youth leader driving change in climate action, food security, social inclusion and gender justice. As a founder of the Grow Green with Us project, African Climate Leaders Fellow 2025, Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT) youth leader alumna, Youth Representative for World Food Forum of FAO, Y20 G20 South Africa 2025 Working Group Member, Doreen leverages her experience and network to empower young people, promote sustainable development, and advocate for positive change.
